Object Snaps

 

A common task for a CAD user is to use object snaps. Setting and modifying the running snaps used to be intrusive in the workflow process, until AutoCAD 14 was released with its support for a running snap Dialog box and popup-menu.
Even with these additions, a number of users still find the setting and modyfing process intrusive, therefore the shortcuts provided below are still widely used even in an R14/2000 environment.

These shortcuts have been combined into one AutoLisp file
OQ QUADrant snap.
OIN INSertion point snap.
OE END point snap.
OI INTersection point snap.
OC CENter point snap.
OM MIDdle point snap.
ON Clear all running snaps.
